The Alliance is delighted to announce that two new sports bodies have signed up to the Voluntary Code of Good Governance for the Sport and Recreation Sector.
The latest signatories, British Eventing and the Federation of Inline Speed Skating, will join a diverse list of sport and recreation organisations that have signed up to the Code.
This diversity reflects the flexibility of the Voluntary Code, it also reinforces the value of a single set of principles to which sport and recreation bodies, small and large, can work.
With over 75 organisations now committed to good governance and using this unique framework to guide them, there can be real confidence that the sport and recreation sector understands its obligations and is taking steps to improve.
The Alliance continues to provide support to its membership via online resources and templates, workshops, director training and 1:1 consultancy support.
