The Alliance’s Research and Development team aims to support the sector with high quality, cost effective support. The team counts over a decade in experience and is proficient in leading the delivery of research and consultancy services to help members address their strategic insight needs.

Core services the team can support with include, primary research design and analysis, insight development from existing datasets, evaluation of your impact, the social economic value of your sport / activity, and supporting strategic planning. We also elevate awareness of research within the sector through our work with government, policy makers and the media to make sure grassroots sport and recreation grows and thrives.

The Alliance's Research and Development team can draw upon over a decade of research consultancy experience. Every member of the team has a minimum of a master's degree from a world-leading institution and we are able to develop and deliver robust methodologies and analysis across a wide range of research disciplines.
