The Sport and Recreation Alliance has formed a series of new working groups to investigate and monitor some of the most burning issues affecting the sport and recreation sector.
The first two working groups will cover physical activity in schools, and public health.
The Physical Activity in Schools Working Group will monitor and support the improvement of physical activity provision in schools.

The Alliance is now asking its members for expressions of interest in terms of joining as core members of either or both of these groups.
Those who are interested in being part of a core group are asked to provide a short statement of up to 250 words outlining their engagement and experience in the relevant policy area, drawing attention to any technical expertise.
We also welcome any interest from wider stakeholders.
