Have your say on European Commission proposal

The European Observatoire of Sport and Employment (EOSE) is conducting a feasibility study on whether the sport and active leisure sector needs and has the capacity to establish a European Sector Skills Council.

The European Sector Skills Councils have been promoted by the European Commission as a way to help gain insight on the skills needed in different sectors.

Their main objectives are to develop accurate data on the size and skills of workforces, propose solutions to tackle the workforce’s challenges, and enable discussions between education and employment at a European and national level.

Councils are currently already established in the commerce, textiles and leather, and construction sectors.

The feasibility study from EOSE will assess if there is sufficient demand to form a council and identify if there is the capacity to ensure its establishment.

A questionnaire for interested parties should take no more than eight minutes to complete and your responses will be treated anonymously and in confidence, although EOSE may follow up to seek further information

Take the questionnaire.

If you need any assistance with completing the questionnaire, please contact the EOSE management team.
