The Sport and Recreation Alliance will welcome Cathryn Moses-Stone as Director on 30 October.

Cathryn is currently Chief of Staff at Catch22, a large social business working to reform the way public services are designed and delivered in the UK.

Last year, she was named as one of Haymarket Media’s ‘30 under 30’ for her work engaging government on challenging social issues.

An avid sports fan, Cathryn is motivated by the potential to improve society through innovation and is passionate about the power of sport for community development.

Sport and Recreation Alliance chair Andrew Moss welcomed the appointment: “I’m excited to see Cathryn join our board. After nearly a decade of working alongside political and corporate stakeholders, she will bring a wealth of expertise, insight and innovation to our board.”

Cathryn added: “I strongly believe in the power of sport and recreation to improve lives and bring communities closer together. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and helping the Alliance to develop an active nation.”

Cathryn will be joining the board on a casual vacancy with her term ending in 2020.
