Non-Executive Director – Sport Integrity (Clean Sport and Welfare & Safeguarding)

About the role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and committed Non-Executive Director to provide strategic leadership and support for all Sport Integrity components of the British Triathlon Strategy. In this role, you will be contributing fully to British Triathlon board discussion and activity across the whole strategy, as well as providing non-executive leadership to the executive team on relevant strategies, with a strong focus on clean sport and welfare & safeguarding.

About you

We’re searching for someone who can demonstrate exceptional knowledge and experience in two (or more) of the following areas:

• delivering strategic outcomes within the private, public, or voluntary sector;

• sport welfare and safeguarding experience at both operational and strategic levels;

• clean sport / anti-doping experience at both operational and strategic levels;

• utilising an inclusive and independent mindset to check and challenge Sport Integrity strategic success;

• experience in non-executive roles;

• an understanding about the impact sport has on society and a good knowledge of and interest holistically in sport.
