About the role
Badminton England is seeking two committee members to join our new Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Committee to help us deliver our vision to be the most inclusive and accessible sport in England.
About you
A Sport for Everyone. In particular, we’d like to hear from: People with lived experience around disability People with a performance background – this can either be an athlete or someone working within a high-performance sporting environment And/or people who are part of our badminton community Our EDI committee has been running for a year, with people from across different sports.
We are looking for further members to help us deliver Badminton England’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy and the annual Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan If you have lived experience in either of the above, we would welcome you joining our committee and help us on our journey to be the nation’s most accessible, diverse, and inclusive sport through an unrelenting focus on equality, diversity, and inclusion to ensure that everyone can access and enjoy badminton regardless of their gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, background, or circumstances.
