Chief Medical Officer (3-4 days, part-time)
The LTA is the National Governing Body of tennis for Great Britain and we govern and grow tennis, from grassroots participation through to the professional game. Our vision for the sport is Tennis Opened Up.
Working as an integral part of the LTA Performance Team to deliver the mission of ‘becoming a globally respected nation for player development’ by supporting GB players, teams & programmes across the Player Pathway this role presents an exciting opportunity to deliver world class clinical support to players at the National Tennis Centre.
As part of a large inter-disciplinary Science and Medicine department, you will provide high quality performance support with the aim of developing and empowering the most resilient, athletic tennis players in the world. Within a decentralised programme of support, this role has a significant advisory element, requiring the ability to influence players, parents and coaches with diverse approaches.
The CMO is responsible for the development and delivery of all areas of clinical governance required of the LTA as a National Governing Body.
