Development Officer (Projects)

An exceptional opportunity has arisen within AoC Sport as we recruit for a Development Officer to work in the North West region and to lead our national project work. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced sports development professional to join our development team.  In this role you will be working collaboratively to develop the sport and physical activity opportunities to students in colleges at all levels including tackling inactivity, increasing participation and organising and supporting our competition pathway. With responsibility for the delivery of a range of events, including Regional Tournaments, and to lead and shape our digital projects and national development projects, this role must provide an outstanding level of service to our member colleges and external partners. This is an exciting time to join our team as we plan to meet the challenges of the Government and Sport England strategies as well as achieving our aim of getting every student active.

To be successful in this role you must be able to work with a wide range of partners to achieve shared outcomes, be equally happy to work collaboratively within a team and independently, be proactive in building partnerships and able to make decisions quickly. You should also value diversity at work, be prepared to work flexibly, manage multiple priorities and take responsibility for completing the job at hand to a high standard.
