London FA has a vision to harness the power of grassroots football to enrich more lives in London.
We have a responsibility to govern, safeguard and develop the grassroots game to ensure the best and most welcoming football experiences for all across the capital. Every three years we run an open recruitment process for our Non-Executive Board Director positions, to ensure we attract and retain the best and most diverse group of people on our Board.
Whether you’re a lifelong football enthusiast, player, volunteer, coach or a corporate professional looking to volunteer your expertise, these roles are a fantastic way to support the development of grassroots football and its impact on people and communities across our great capital city.
There are seven positions available on the London FA Board through this open recruitment process. These are three Independent Non-Executive Directors and four Non-Executive Football Directors. One of these positions can be a Finance & Risk Director.
Diversity is at the heart of our strategy, because it is at the heart of grassroots football in London. We pride ourselves on the increasing diversity of our Board. We encourage applications from the widest range of backgrounds, particularly where there is often under-representation. We are particularly keen to encourage female, black, Asian and LGBT+ applicants, and applications from those with disabilities and from minority ethnic, faith and racial groups.
The application process is simple – please send a CV and covering letter explaining why you wish to apply and why you think you are suitable for the role to the CEO, Paul Bickerton, at Paul.Bickerton@londonfa.com by 5pm on Friday 30 October.
