Sporting Equals Trustee

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our wonderful Board of Trustees. The skills or background we would appreciate more of includes finance, law, sport networking, sport knowledge and marketing. A passion for diversity and inclusion is a must.

Sporting Equals is now looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Trustee to join our Board of Trustees to deliver insight around the aforementioned areas. Meetings are usually in London or Birmingham.

As a Trustee, you will be jointly responsible with the other Trustees to ensure Sporting Equals is doing what it was set up to do as a charity. Our central aim is to deliver equality, diversity and inclusion across the UK sport and physical activity sector. So if you have a keen interest in social equality and feel you could deliver some key insight this role is for you. 

With regards to time commitments, you will be required to attend quarterly Board meetings (circa 3 to 4 hours duration, held on a weekday, usually London or Birmingham based). You may also be required to attend some sub-committee meetings, teleconferences between Board meetings and an annual development/ strategy day. There will also be papers to read and actions to deliver on.
