UK Athletics (UKA), the National governing body for the premier Olympic and Paralympic sport of Athletics is looking for a high quality programme coordinator to join the Performance team on the exciting run up to the Tokyo 2020 Games. The Performance Programme Coordinator is a dynamic role which plays a pivotal part in ensuring GB&NI Athletics teams have the best chance possible of international medal success.
The successful candidate will mainly be immersed in the British Athletics World Class Programme, including the coordination of training camps and international competitions.
Based in Birmingham, they will also have the opportunity to travel both in the UK and worldwide, all of which is pre-planned with plenty of notice.
Candidates should have previous experience of arranging group travel, be a fluent user of Microsoft Office applications and have an interest in and/or knowledge of elite level athletics. We're looking for someone who can demonstrate strong planning and organisational skills; good communication, both verbal and written, as well as an ability to work well under pressure, within a highly focused team.
