Job Description
England Fencing are seeking an independent board member. The Board has ambitious plans which include increasing the number of people who fence and volunteer within fencing in England. We are now seeking an outstanding individual with experience in youth sports and/or developing and working with a volunteer workforce.
Ideally the successful candidate will have experience in one or more of:
Event planning and management,
Sponsorship / fund raising for events
Social media and IT
The time commitment for this is a minimum of four board meetings per annum with more flexible arrangements for ad hoc events. A degree of flexibility will be required and some time commitment will be during the evening/weekends.
This is a voluntary role, but some reasonable expenses will be paid, ie. travel to meetings/events.
