County Welfare Officer

Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 plus benefits.

Contract: Please note this role is offered on a fixed term funding agreement that we have with The FA until the 30 June 2019

Manchester FA is looking to recruit a dynamic individual to join our team, who can provide the leadership required to ensure the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults is at the heart of everything we do. We expect the successful candidate to have the ability to drive our team forward and embed a culture that reinforces the fact that safeguarding within football is essential to provide a safe and fun environment for all participants. 

The County Welfare Officer role will report directly to the CEO and will be the Senior Operational Lead for Safeguarding within Manchester FA. Working closely with regional and national staff from The FA, the successful candidate will oversee the effective delivery of the FA’s Safeguarding Policies and will be instrumental in the successful implementation of the FA’s Minimum Operating Standards for Safeguarding during the 2017/18 season.
