About the Role
The role will commence in June 2024 following appointment at the Badminton England AGM. The successful candidate will be appointed for an initial term of 3 years which may be renewed for a maximum of 3 terms. It is expected that the Chair will be required to commit around 35 days per year.
This will consist of chairing up to 8 Board meetings per year, 3 general meetings, chairing the AGM, ex officio membership of all sub-committees and attending key events. Meetings will take place at National Badminton Centre, Milton Keynes, English Institute of Sport, Sheffield or online. While the role is non-remunerated, Badminton England will reimburse expenses for Board and ambassadorial activities both at home and abroad.
