PHYSIOLOGIST (BRITISH SAILING)

KEY RESPONSIBILITITES

  • Working with sailors, coaches, and interdisciplinary team to support the delivery of physiological services in line with the Physical component of the Boat speed strategy.
  • Deliver laboratory and field based physiological testing and monitoring of targeted areas of athlete development, as identified by class strategy or sailor’s medal winning plan, in conjunction with the Senior Physiologist/Training science lead.
  • Programme and deliver physiology based training programmes to create identified physical adaptation, working with the Senior Physiologist/Training science lead and Strength & Conditioning Coaches.
