This is an exciting opportunity for an Interim Director of Medical Services for 12 months, to co-lead the English Institute of Sport (EIS) Athlete Health service in support of partner organisations and UK High Performance System sports as part of the Mission 2025 strategy. At the EIS we provide science, medicine, technology, and engineering services to over 40 sports that represent Great Britain at the Summer and Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. Our mission is to deliver outstanding support that allows sports and athletes to excel. We put people at the heart of extraordinary performance.
You will be responsible for the leadership of over 150 Sports and Exercise Medicine Physicians and Physiotherapists supporting sports to effectively plan and deliver athlete physical and mental health best practice, optimising availability for preparation and performance.
Your deep technical expertise in the field of Sports Science and Medicine will be a given. You will also be an experienced leader of large teams, and an exceptional relationship and stakeholder manager.
