Development Manager - Girls’ Football Programmes

Excited by the power of sport to energise young people you are looking for a leadership role where your knowledge of girl’s sport and project management expertise can make a difference. Look no further than this Development Manager role with the Youth Sport Trust. We are looking for an advocate for girl’s sport to provide leadership, creativity and direction to our unique work supporting The FA’s mission to transform Girls Football by providing equal access in schools by 2024.

As Development Manager you will work with senior level stakeholders to strategically position and connect the girls’ football ambition in the education landscape. You will also lead the team to ensure the effective delivery of a range of bespoke football-based interventions for girls in schools in England. This will include implementing strong corporate procedures and processes to ensure the effective delivery of projects. You will also help influence the positioning of girls’ football in schools and facilitate a joined-up approach to transition girls from school to community settings by working with colleagues to nurture, grow and support a network of The FA Girls’ Football School Partnerships and their practitioners. Critical in this role will be the ability to engage with The FA and other stakeholders.
