Senior Executive Officer
Salary: £30,000 – 40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

This is an exciting time to join the Ramblers team and a great opportunity to make a lasting and tangible impact on the future success of the organisation. The Senior Executive Officer is an essential member of the Senior Leadership Team and provides highly professional and wide-ranging executive personal assistant and administration support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This role directly supports the CEO with relevant administration activity, provides secretariat and planning support to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and supports staff team meetings, conferences, and other internal and external meetings as required. The Senior Executive Officer also leads on specific development projects as requested by the CEO and SLT.
We are looking for someone with a commitment to the values of the Ramblers and a successful track-record of working in a comparably senior role with a range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, good attention to detail, and will be highly competent in researching and producing meeting and briefing papers and reports. The role requires a sound understanding of data management and excellent numeracy and IT skills across standard packages. The Senior Executive Officer needs to be a self-starter, capable of proactive management of competing demands and deadlines and able to act with initiative and drive. The successful candidate will also have sound judgement and be able to exercise discretion and confidentiality at all times.
