Performance Kit and Logistics Coordinator
Salary: £19,055– £24,205
Location: Head Office, Birmingham
UK Athletics (UKA), the National governing body for the premier Olympic and Paralympic sport of athletics has a vacancy for a Performance Kit and Logistics Coordinator, to support the successful implementation of the World Class Plan.
To ensure all British Athletics team members receive the kit and equipment required to perform at the highest level when at International championships/competitions.
To include sourcing of kit and equipment from suppliers to the central warehouse and then distributing to all athletes and staff. Also included within this role is the ongoing analysis of our existing supply systems, communications and networks which are vital in ensuring an efficient approach can be implemented both within the UK and at international competition sites around the world.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent personal time planning skills to meet the needs of the customer.
Experience of stock control / management is preferred.
- Experience of project delivery or staging sporting events is an advantage.
- Experience of working in a high-performance environment is desirable.
- Specific knowledge of developing Microsoft Excel solutions is an advantage.
- Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the function of a sport's governing body.
- Hold a valid UK driver’s license.
