Head of The National Performance Pathway

Salary: Highly competitive dependent on experience

Location: National Tennis Centre, 100 Priory Lane, London SW15 5JQ with the requirement for National travel 

Job Summary

The LTA is seeking an accomplished leader with experience of developing sustainable performance pathways to help drive our 2023 Mission to create a pathway for champions that nurtures people, teams and leaders. Our aspiration is to become one of the most respected nations in the world for player development and you will be responsible for leading the National Performance Pathway Team to:

· Attract more of the most athletic children to choose tennis every year 

· Nurture more children into regular training and competition every year 

· Ensure the best players aged 10 to 14 are regularly supported and challenged in transformative County and Regional training environments

· Create competition for places in the County, Regional and National Junior Programmes 

· Hold County, Regional and National Junior Programmes accountable for the safety, welfare and wellbeing of their players, parents and staff

You will have experience of operating at a senior level and developing people with a successful track record of leading multi-disciplinary coaching, science and medicine teams to deliver talent selection, confirmation and development programmes for high potential junior athletes.
