Media Manager

Use your exceptional PR skills to help grow Tennis. 

Do you have proven experience in pitching and landing coverage in media and want to work in a role where you’ll be helping us spread the word about tennis at a time when interest in the sport has rarely been higher?

Do you want a role where you can grow your existing skills and develop your own strategies?

As a Media Manager at the LTA you will be joining the Media Team at an incredibly exciting time for both tennis as a sport and the organisation, helping us is in our mission to grow tennis and spread the word far and wide across the country.

This is where you come in.

You’ll be the person that ensures our programmes and initiatives gain the awareness and coverage they need across a diverse range of media (anything from national press to local and regional outlets and newspapers). Some of our varied and interesting initiatives that you will be promoting will include: the role the National Tennis Centre plays, building profiles of our elite and up and coming players, Olympics & Paralympics, participation trends and making the sport more accessible through Open Court and Serves programmes. Each day will be different and the scope of the role and projects you’ll work on will be diverse and exciting.

You’ll be joining a first-class press office and as the team is small and dynamic you will have the chance to make your mark on the role and lead on initiatives, liaising with colleagues across the organisation including the Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Commercial, Performance, Competitions, Coaching and Event Operations teams.

About You

You’ll have a PR or comms background (demonstrable experience of winning media coverage is essential). Maybe you have had regional experience in the industry and are looking to take the next step in your career, whilst working for an organisation with an exciting vision and goal of getting more people playing tennis (regardless of background).

Please note that due to the nature of the work, the role will be based Full Time at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton.
