EMD UK is the national governing body for group exercise and our mission is to support group exercise instructors to be the best they can be. Our profile and reputation has grown significantly over the last 15 months as we’ve helped instructors deal with COVID-19 and lockdown; we now want to increase our reach and engagement so that more instructors can help more people get healthy and active. We are now recruiting for a Head of Marketing and Communications to lead this important work.
As a member of the Senior Management Team and reporting to the Chief Executive, you will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing and communications plan through your team of four and with a five-figure marketing budget. EMD UK is a ‘digital first’ organisation so you will need to have a deep understanding of digital marketing and analytics. Your projects will include the launch of the training for a major new fitness class, implementation of a new corporate brand and development of a new website.
The role is funded by a Sport England lottery grant which is assured until 31 March 2022.
