Board Treasurer, Trustee and Finance Committee Chair

We are looking for a dynamic Board Trustee acting as CIMSPA’s Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair to support us in our work.

We are interested in people from within or external to our sector. You must have a passion for working for the benefit of the public and be inspired to support CIMSPA’s vision of being a recognised and respected sport and physical activity sector that everyone wants to be part of. Along with our charitable objectives of promoting and advancing the health of the nation by encouraging active participation, safe delivery, promoting management excellence, advancing education and promoting research in sport and physical activity, you will have the highest standards of service delivery, for the benefit of the public.

Role purpose: We are looking for a board trustee with the responsibility of CIMSPA treasurer and finance committee chair, who can provide a clear strategic and visionary overview of CIMSPA’s state of financial health in line with monitoring, whilst providing advice on the financial viability of the charity. We also ask that all CIMSPA’s people, including the board treasurer and trustee role meet the CIMSPA behaviours, which support us in being a high-performing and successful team.

Location: CIMSPA offices, Sport Park, Loughborough. London (central meeting venues). Remote working using Microsoft Teams or other virtual meeting software.
