Leadership Convention 2016
This year's Leadership Convention is taking place on 2-3 November in Manchester.
The theme SRA Accounts 2023 of this year's Convention will be Leading for Impact. The change in the sporting landscape that will be influenced by the Government and Sport England's strategies will necessitate organisations to react and adapt accordingly.
At our Sports Summit we heard how the sector will need to demonstrate its impact against the five outcomes from the Sporting Futures strategy. This will require sport and recreation organisations to develop new approaches and evolve current practices.
Attending the Leadership Convention, delegates will hear and learn about how to identify where change is needed and how to enable and manage the process. Where change is necessary, new processes and solutions will need to be created. Delegates will also be able to learn what skills are needed for leaders to successfully oversee and manage their resources, teams and organisations during times of change and transition.
