Call for outdoor recreation case studies:
Following the success of our Reconomics report in 2014, we are planning to release an updated version of the report later this year. The report will once again focus on the economic value of outdoor recreation but will also showcase the wider health, community and social benefits of getting active outdoors.
Updating Reconomics provides an opportunity to promote the great work of the sport and recreation sector, particularly those operating in the outdoor recreation space. Therefore, we are asking you, our members, to share with us any case studies which demonstrate how your outdoor recreation activities deliver on the outcomes laid out in the Government’s sports strategy.
Case studies can be either about a project or an individual story but must clearly demonstrate the positive impact of outdoor recreation, ideally through formal evaluation if it is a project.
The case studies that best reflect the broad range of outdoor recreation activities and demonstrate impact against the five outcomes will be included in our final Reconomics resource.
