Head National Coach- Trampolining

Salary: Competitive

Contract type: Permanent (Full time)

Job Description

British Gymnastics is the UK Governing Body for the sport and recreation of gymnastics. We exist to support, lead and inspire all those involved or interested in gymnastics; from the creation of new programmes and activities at grass roots level in the community, to the development of talent producing international gymnasts.

This is an exciting time to join British Gymnastics, as we are driving a period of unparalleled success: participation is rising, membership is increasing, fans are brought closer than ever and our medal winning British Team has never been so prolific.

Heading into the 2020 Tokyo cycle we are looking to appoint a Head National Coach Trampolining with a vision and passion for excellence to drive and build on the amazing success achieved at the 2016 games where we achieved our first British Medal in Olympic Trampolining history.

As the Head National Coach, you will be integral in building on our previous success and driving the Trampolining programme forward. An effective and motivational leader, you will contribute to the strategy, provide leadership for the development/delivery of the programme and create a sustainable, thriving world class performance culture for athletes, coaches and support staff.

To be successful in the role, you must have proven International coaching experience at World and Olympic level along with experience of working with and improving elite athletes in a coaching capacity. Additionally, you will hold a HPC or level 4/5 equivalent qualification with a background in Trampolining coaching and current knowledge/certificate of safeguarding and protecting children in sport.

British Gymnastics is an equal opportunities employer and aims to provide a discrimination-free working environment. We are committed to an action plan and policy in line with the Equality Act 2010, which ensures that no job applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment because of a protected characteristic.
