The Community Sport and Recreation Awards, formerly known as the Sports Club of the Year Awards, have been running for 20 years – showcasing  sport and recreation organisations performing excellent work in local communities.

Each year there are several categories of awards all designed to highlight the breadth of work that is undertaken in the community sport and recreation sector.

Also celebrated at the awards are individual prizes – the Emeritus Award for a life-time's commitment to sport and recreation and the Arthur Bell Trophy, which recognises people who have given tremendous services to community sport.
