The Sport and Recreation Alliance has been working with the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) between April 2010 and March 2011 to map out the landscape for voluntary sports organisations in the coming five years.

Together, the Alliance and NCVO have identified six strategic ‘drivers’ (external factors) for voluntary-led organisations involved in the provision of sport and recreation that may have an influence on these organisations, either positively or negatively, in the near future. The research looks at how the scenarios might play-out and what the implications for sport would be as a result.

Detailed information on these six drivers can be found by clicking on each of them, and more information on the work of the NCVO is available on its website.
