Substance have been working with Sported to develop an Impact Assessment Application. This is a tool designed to make it easy for the sport and recreation sector to measure the value of their projects focusing on young people and to take an evidence based approach.
The tool that Substance and Sported are developing together is free and will cross reference your project data, such as time and venue of activities, demographic information about participants and the personal outcomes being achieved with third party data around for example, crime and health. In order to better understand the application and to find out more about how you could use and benefit from it, Sported are holding a free online Webinar on Tuesday 22 November. The Webinar will include an online demonstration that provides a general overview and usage guidance for the system.
If you’re interested, you can register to take part and then you will receive an automated email to join the webinar. The email will contain a link that will prompt you to download an application which allows you to use the software. If you do not receive this email then please check your Junk/Spam folder as it sometimes gets sent there. To allow a webinar to work on the day you will need to have admin rights on your computer and headphones (not speakers as this causes feedback). During the webinar session you will be able to hear the trainer’s voice and view their screen as they demonstrate various aspects of the system. Please feel free to post questions at any time using the Gotomeeting control panel. The trainer will cover all of your queries at some point during and after the session.
