PURPOSE
An exciting opportunity for a HR Generalist with a strong background in recruitment and development to leverage HR best practice and knowledge to coach hiring managers and stakeholders across the ECB with recruitment and talent management. This role is critical in ensuring ECB talent management, recruitment and related people processes provide a fair, transparent and robust experience to all candidates, internal and external, enabling cricket’s ambition to become the most inclusive sport.
With the HRD, this role will also lead the evolution of our inclusive, transparent and effective recruitment strategy and the evolution of our anonymous recruitment platform as well as overseeing the introduction and roll out of an e-learning platform, laying the foundations for a comprehensive L&D strategy.
This role will also act as an ambassador for the effective implementation of ECB’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) strategies and drive ECB’s commitment to diverse and inclusive hiring processes. While this role is anticipated to have a strong internal focus, depending on volume and anticipated projects, there will be opportunities to support others in the wider People Team and the network with programmes and projects (e.g. key tournaments, Hundred Rising and Talent Development programmes).
Additionally, you will manage one recruitment specialist within the team.
