Overall purpose
An exciting opportunity exists for two England Women U19 Assistant Coach positions for the second ICC Women’s U19 World Cup, to be hosted by Malaysia in January 2025.
The England Women U19 programme looks to provide opportunities in an inspirational development environment with competitive exposure at an International level for players deemed with the highest potential to play for England Women in the future, as well as players highlighting key potential to further their career within the domestic game.
The roles will provide support to the EW U19 Performance Lead (Head Coach) in delivering a balanced learning and performance environment across both preparation and performance phases of the programme, ensuring a world leading talent development environment is provided for individuals and the selected squad. The role will require availability at the following training camps and also a requirement to attend and assist the England Women U19 team at the ICC U19 Women’s WT20 2025:
• Training camps:
o 24th & 25th October 2024 (Staff days @ Waktu, Lake District)

Further days and times for specific staff/player meetings, planning opportunities, travel and a significant review process providing feedback to both player and Regional/Tier 1 management are expected, taking the overall number of days for this role to 50.
