About the role
As Head of Membership and Customer Growth, you’ll lead on driving revenue growth and customer engagement across membership for British Triathlon and the three Home Nations of Triathlon England, Triathlon Scotland, and Welsh Triathlon.
Working with the Director of Development and Growth, you’ll be responsible for the strategic direction of membership and leading the team to implement that strategy, managing product evolution, enhancing membership retention and acquisition, and improving customer engagement content through a collaborative working approach.
You’ll work closely with the Marketing Team to promote the membership proposition nationwide, the wider Development Team to connect the membership workstrand to participation, workforce, events, and clubs, and Brand Partnership colleagues to secure partners to support the products.
We’re searching for an analytical thinker with a proven record of thriving in commercial environments and problem-solving situations. You’ll be a natural relationship builder across all levels, with the ability to think strategically for both short and long-term projects.
You will have experience of analytics, budget management which drives customer retention, and acquisition. The working environment is dynamic and fast paced, with an upcoming launch of our revised and expanded membership products.
The successful candidate will be required to drive the implementation and development of these products. Successful working relationships are key to any role. Our new Head of Membership and Customer Growth will report into the Director of Development and Growth.
The successful candidate will be an integral and valued leader of the Membership Team and is likely to thrive through developing and maintaining close working relationships with our Head of Marketing, Deputy Director of Participation and Events, the wider Development Directorate Leadership Team, and other key stakeholders across the organisation.
The role will benefit from our successful hybrid working model, where Tuesday to Thursday all colleagues work from our Loughborough head office, providing a supportive, collaborative, and fun working environment, and flexible working on Mondays and Fridays, working from home as work commitments allow.
