National Football Development Coordinator

An exceptional opportunity has arisen within AoC Sport as we recruit a National Football Development Coordinator in partnership with The Football Association (FA).

In this role you will be providing administration support to the Football Development Team, coordinating ECFA projects and managing data / insight in order to support and enhance football and futsal participation in colleges and across FE communities.

You will liaise with AoC Sport colleagues to design, deliver and plan football and futsal projects which contribute towards the FA National Game Strategy. You will build strong internal and external relationships to grow college and community football and futsal under the organisation’s football brand, ECFA. You will lead on the collation and management of data, the monitoring and evaluation of projects, feedback from stakeholders following engagement events, generation of impact report and will provide insight to the Football Development Team which will help colleagues improve future services and generate income.

To be successful in this role you will have a passion for football and its growth in association with the development of young people. We are seeking an individual who has the capability to provide and prioritise administration and project coordination support to multiple colleagues, with advanced IT skills to collate, analyse and evaluate data to inform decision making.

You will demonstrate an eye for detail, the ability to work independently and under your own initiative; and will also be a collaborative team member by generating and contributing ideas to meetings helping the team achieve individual and collective goals. Effective interpersonal skills, the ability to tailor communication to different audiences and identify causes of problems (not just symptoms) to build solutions are essential for this role.

Additionally, you will have a positive outlook and demonstrate respect for equality and diversity and contribute towards an inclusive working environment.
