England Athletics is the membership and development body for the sport in England. We work in partnership with the wider athletics family, especially our member clubs, UK Athletics, Sport England & commercial partners, to grow opportunities for everyone to experience athletics and running, to enable them to reach their full potential. England Athletics also provides national level competition and is responsible for athlete development beneath world class performance level.

England Athletics is a membership organisation with c1,400-member clubs/bodies and c140,000 registered athletes, which exists to provide services and support to its members and to promote and deliver athletics and running activities across all ages, event disciplines, ability levels and aspirations. There are also more than 7m who run each month in England, 3,998 licensed road races and 147,000 active RunTogether participants operating in more than 2,834 registered running groups.

Our vision is that athletics will be the most popular and inclusive sport in England, led by a network of progressive clubs and organisations, and supported by a sustainable, respected, and trusted governing body. In achieving this we will expand the capacity of the sport, sustain, and increase participation and performance levels as well as influence participation in the wider athletics market.

A vacancy has arisen for a Member Engagement Officer to provide a high-quality customer and membership engagement service. Each Membership Engagement Officer will provide administration and coordination support so previous experience in planning, and providing high-quality customer service, is required. This role will undertake the scheduling, organisation and administration of all physical and online leader, coach, official and teacher education courses, so experience in coordinating virtual and online training courses, is essential. Previous experience in managing an external workforce and internal relationships is important. Experience of utilising digital operating systems that generate revenue to a business, is also required.
