Head of Performance Support (Archery GB)

At the EIS we are looking to recruit a Head of Performance Support to work with Archery GB.

The English Institute for Sport (EIS) and Archery GB are working in partnership to seek an exceptional individual to play a leading role in supporting the alignment of the Performance Archery programmes across the Olympic and Paralympic categories and Pathway programme.

At the EIS we have around 400 high performing and highly motivated staff and work in a complex environment of external stakeholder relationships. The EIS sits in a pivotal role in the UK within high performance sport.

The role of Head of Performance Support is one that exists within all sports working with the EIS, ensuring that their critical priorities can be delivered through aligned sports and science medicine provision to the sport’s specific performance needs.

Are you passionate about high performance sport with a deep knowledge of developing performance planning in support of individual athlete plans? Can you bring your strategic thinking capability to support the Performance Director and Performance Programmes Manager to lead the development and evolution of performance planning processes within the World Class Programme?

We don’t require you to have a background in Archery, but, for the right candidate with a team sport background, this role will offer the opportunity for you to join a successful team at the start of an ambitious cycle.

If you believe you have what it takes to be successful in what is a demanding but rewarding role working with the Archery GB World Class Programme, we would love to hear from you.
