Our championship team run in excess of 55 events a year between the months of May to October and are now looking to increase their team to support the delivery. As an events officer you will organise and deliver club events as directed, coordinating entries and entry fees, accommodation arrangements, and represent England Golf whilst at hosting venues. We pride ourselves on providing first class events for our golfers and you will play an important part in delivering this.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- a broad experience of golf and golf administration
- a good working knowledge of the Rules of Golf
- an ability to work with professionals and volunteers
- the ability to work to deadlines
- experience of running golf tournaments
- experience of managing and answering Rules of Golf enquires.
The role will require regular levels of physical effort.
The post is full-time and the successful applicant will need to be prepared to travel and work evenings and weekends, as necessary. The position is based at England Golf Headquarters, The National Golf Centre, The Broadway, Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, LN10 6PU and you will travel as needed to deliver events.
