Location: Remote with occasional attendance at CIMSPA’s Head Office (Sport Park, Loughborough University, Loughborough)

This new role will sit within our Organisational Design and Development team whose purpose is to prioritise good governance and risk management in all decision making across the organisation. You will react with pace in developing or changing the organisation / its people to enable CIMSPA to change to meet the needs of the sector, ensuring we develop an agile, safe and fit for purpose organisational structure that will support CIMSPA’s success.

As a Compliance and Complaints Manager you will grow our complaints, investigations and appeals operations, supporting CIMSPA members, partners and stakeholders to comply with their obligations such as adherence to a code of conduct or contract.

Working within CIMSPA’s governance structure, the Compliance and Complaints Manager will support executive team members to undertake investigations and present them to the disciplinary committee in accordance with CIMSPA’s policies and procedures. Promoting exemplary governance, customer service standards, standardised and inclusive approaches and risk management principles in all undertakings of the role is crucial. 

You will be responsible for overseeing all complaints, investigations and appeals submitted to CIMSPA. You will propose and develop policies, processes and systems that reduce the tension and time for all parties involved, whilst upholding public trust and operating with integrity, fairness and transparency.

This role will be a key driver as we enter the next phase of our strategy and our ideal candidate will have a background in handling complaints, with a keen eye fordetail, and the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.

This remote role will require occasional attendance at CIMSPA’s Head Office (Sport Park, Loughborough University, Loughborough) or other locations for team meetings.
