British Blind Sport Workforce Officer (See Sport Differently Project)

Salary range: £23,000-£25,000 per annum.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week.

Contract status: This role is funded by Sport England with partner contributions. It is a full-time fixed term contract until 31 March 2024.

Location: Based at British Blind Sport Offices, Cubbington, Warwickshire (with the potential of some flexible working arrangements for the suitable candidate).

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our small but ambitious and friendly team, as a British Blind Sport Workforce Officer for the See Sport Differently Project. British Blind Sport is the National Disability Sport Organisation that supports blind and partially sighted people to get active and play sport. We are looking for a dedicated Officer to develop and deliver a workforce strategy which meets the needs of the See Sport Differently Project. In particular, you will be required to focus on the recruitment and development of volunteers, both sight impaired and sighted, and inclusive coaches and deliverers across the sport sector, ensuring that pathways in sport and physical activity exist which are inclusive to blind and partially sighted people (BPSP) across all levels.
