England Hockey is recruiting for a Head of Legal and Governance to join our Finance & Administration directorate.
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading a high performing governance team to ensure that England Hockey is legally compliant and has sound governance systems in place. An influential leader who is able to inspire and develop good governance throughout the sport of hockey.
We are looking for individuals with strong leadership skills who are able to work collaboratively with the wider directorate and take ownership of the areas of Governance, Legal Compliance and Support, Ethics and Sport Compliance and Risk Management. You will need to have an excellent understanding of governance, compliance and legal issues in sport, experience of developing and implementing policies and procedures and a good knowledge of formal and informal disrepute resolution. The role requires an exceptional sense of integrity, the ability to build trust and confidence, outstanding communication and negotiation skills and an excellent sense of judgement.
