Activity Alliance is extremely proud of its work so far in building an extensive portfolio of insight on disabled people in sport and activity.
Our goal is to close the fairness gap between disabled and non-disabled people’s activity levels. We recognise that as the current COVID-19 pandemic has made reaching our goal more challenging, it has also made it more important.
The charity is looking to appoint an exceptional individual to lead and develop this work. Alongside the Research and Evaluation Advisor who you will manage, you will act as an expert resource for our teams and key partners. Your work will maintain and present evidence that relates to disabled people’s lives, their motivations, and the barriers to being active. Working alongside our Marketing and Communications Team you will find accessible, innovative ways to present findings to a range of audiences.
You will be able to demonstrate that you have the professional skills, experience, and ability to work closely with a range of people. You will be skilled in conducting and analysing research. An excellent communicator, you understand the importance of how to reach and influence key audiences inclusively.
You will have a relevant degree level and/or professional qualifications and a minimum of five years’ experience in a research role.
You will be part of the dynamic and innovative Activity Alliance team responsible for growing the charity’s impact.
