It is an exciting time to join Activity Alliance, a national charity that is currently working on a new strategy. In collaboration with key stakeholders and our members, the goal is to close the fairness gap between disabled and non-disabled people’s activity levels in the next generation.
Engagement Advisors support key strategic partners, including Active Partnerships (APs), National Governing Bodies of Sport (NGBs) and leisure providers to become more effective in their role of enabling more disabled people to be active in sport and activity.
You will have good knowledge of the sport and activity sector and how it operates and be able to advocate improvements which enable more disabled people to get active. You will also have a knowledge of the non-sport sectors including disabled people’s organisations and how to establish effective relationships to build partnerships in connecting these sectors together.
The successful candidate will be based in the South West region and will have the option for remote/home working.
