An exciting opportunity has become available to join our small but ambitious and friendly team, as a British Blind Sport Participation Officer. British Blind Sport is the National Disability Sport Organisation that supports blind and partially sighted people to get active and play sport.
Funded by Sport England, this role will work to take forward new and established links and initiatives across the visually impaired (VI) community within England to grow participation in sport.
Candidates for the post must have a proven track record of managing and delivering projects and a high level project and event planning skills is needed. Experience in working with or supporting visually impaired people is desirable. The successful applicant must be able to work flexibly and be willing to travel to other locations as and when the role requires.
