Together Active is seeking two new Trustees Do you believe in the life-changing benefits of physical activity and sport? Do you have the skills to help lead our new charity forward? Together Active is a newly-formed Charitable Incorporated Organisation. However, the new organisation is the evolution of an unincorporated organisation which has been established for nearly 20 years; SASSOT (Sport Across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent). Together Active will become operational on 1st April 2020, and at that point business will transfer from SASSOT to the new charity. We will bring with us our successful track record and the relationships and reputation we have built both locally and nationally, but we believe this transition will give us longer-term financial sustainability and also allow us to operate with more agility, creating new partnerships and increasing our impact.
We are looking for new Trustees to help steer Together Active through this exciting period of transformation, ensuring it becomes a progressive, adaptable and thriving organisation with a visionary Board at its helm. We are particularly looking for applicants with strengths in commercial innovation and income generation or charity finance and financial risk management. However, we welcome applications from anyone with a successful track record of leadership and management at a strategic level, and an excellent network of local business contacts.
