The aims of the Trust are to promote community participation by providing facilities for playing tennis, mini tennis or other tennis related activity in line with the LTA's strategic plan and facilities strategy. The LTA Trust plans to achieve this through grant support and investment in community accessible tennis facilities. A major aspect of the Trust's work is the provision of capital grants to support the LTA’s Transforming British Tennis Together (TBTT) facility investment programme. TBTT projects include development of tennis facilities in parks, clubs, schools and universities to provide affordable access of these facilities to the community.

They are accountable for the proper use of the Trust’s charitable assets and are accountable for ensuring that the Trust meets its charitable objectives. We are seeking individuals with solid knowledge of the grassroots tennis landscape, specifically where sport has made a difference within communities, and for individuals who have experience of grant giving within this environment.
