Women’s National Coach

The LTA’s vision is “Tennis Opened Up” and its mission is to make tennis Relevant, Accessible, Welcoming and Enjoyable.  Our Performance Team at the LTA aims to become one of the most respected nations in the world for player development. We will do this by creating a pathway for champions that nurtures a diverse team of players, people and leaders.

The Women’s Tennis Team objective is to capture 5% of the WTA top 100 by 2028 and inspire the tennis audience. We will achieve this through:

  • Developing an oversupply of players who meet the Pro Scholarship Programme (PSP) selection criteria every year from 2022
  • Our PSP players achieving their progression targets every year

The Women’s National Coach will be responsible for the development of designated female PSP / Men’s and Women’s Scholarship Programme (MWP) players, so they remain on track to reach their agreed ranking and development goals on an annual basis. The Women’s National Coach will also responsible for leading and managing junior activity within the Women’s Programme.
