Utilising extensive previous development experience, this role will provide the strategic direction for the overall technology architecture of the LTA alongside the Head of Technology, whilst leading on the day to day development of the chosen solutions. By providing innovative and reliable technology solutions, this role will ensure excellence in delivery across all business areas and to members of the public. With extensive relevant experience, the role’s responsibility is to engineer web and customer engagement solutions that meet our customers’ needs and help shape the LTA’s technological and digital offering.
Your creativity and technical excellence will manifest itself in a wide range of products and services which will help the LTA to distinguish itself from the competition and offer its’ customers a truly engaging and superior interactive experience at every digital touch-point. With previous experience in line management, the role will be responsible for the organisation, support and mentoring of members within the team, managing outsourced vendor relationship and development teams. You will play a key role in structuring the LTA’s development team and supplier network.
The Head of Development requires extensive people management experience (both employees and offsite development teams), and in depth experience across a wide range of software development technologies, primarily CRM platforms (Salesforce of Siebel), C# / .NET, MS AZURE, as well as vast experience working with Agile methodologies.
