Independent Non-Executive Director

Location: Meetings are usually held at the offices of the British Mountaineering Council in Manchester
Do you have an interest in climbing, walking, mountaineering? Ever thought about being an influencer of the strategic direction of an awarding organisation?
Mountain Training England is seeking to recruit a new non-executive director to join its seven person board. The board consists of a mix of independent directors and directors with sector-related knowledge and experience. In this round of recruitment we are interested to receive applications from:
- People with experience of the adventure activities sector.
- People with experience of not for profit organisations outside of the adventure activities sector.
- People with legal experience or experience of contract law.
- People with safeguarding expertise.
Whilst no remuneration is available for the role of an independent non-executive director, all reasonable expenses incurred will be reimbursed in accordance with Mountain Training England’s expenses policy.
