Role summary:

Drive delivery of Badminton England participation strategic goals (Discover Badminton) for young people by driving a customer-centric approach to delivery for young people that ensures a high quality experience, maximising customer acquisition and retention.

Key accountabilities & responsibilities:

o Maintain an up to date understanding of young people and their needs and ensure customer insight is embedded in delivery across all areas of work.

o Develop resources, support, guidance and, where appropriate, products to ensure all delivery of badminton provides a high quality experience that directly contributes to more young people taking part (participating and competing) in badminton.

o Maximise data collection with partners and stakeholders through effective use of Badminton England platforms and CRM system.

o Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the Commercial team to ensure that marketing and communication activity for young people is individualised and personalised where feasible to maximise participation and retention.

o Ensure other teams in Badminton England are equipped with the appropriate resources and support to enable delivery of Discover Badminton targets at a local level and delivery of organisational objectives. o Ensure high levels of satisfaction amongst customers, partners and stakeholders.

o Identify gaps and opportunities to develop new business and/or areas of improvement in existing business to maximise organisation objectives.

o Ensure excellent cross-team working.

The person:

o Track record of ensuring delivery of quality experiences for young people that maximise participation and retention.

o Experience of working with young people demonstrating a clear understanding of the needs of young people and using insight to drive delivery.

o Understanding of personalised marketing approaches to underpin customer acquisition and retention with experience of developing and using customer insight to inform delivery.

o Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects that acquire and retain customers and deliver organisational objectives.

o Seeks new partners and stakeholders to secure delivery of strategic targets and maximise delivery of organisational objectives.

o Ability to maintain high levels of satisfaction amongst customers, partners and stakeholders.

o Ability to work effectively under pressure, make sound judgement calls.

o Clear, logical thinker able to solve problems and propose pragmatic solutions.

o Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.

o Ability to manage multiple projects at a time whilst paying strict attention to detail.
