Volunteer - England Colleges Football Association Goalkeeper Coach
The ECFA is currently seeking to appoint an experienced Goalkeeping Coach with a record of success to assist our England Colleges Women’s Football Programme. If you believe you can commit to this fantastic opportunity, then please apply as we would look forward to working with you.
The Association of Colleges (AoC) exists to represent and promote the interests of colleges and provide members with professional support services. As such, we aim to be the authoritative voice of colleges – based on credible analysis, research, advocacy and consultation with colleges – and the first-choice destination for guidance and advice for members. AoC was established in 1996 by colleges themselves as a voice for further education and higher education delivered in colleges at national and regional level.
AoC Sport is the lead membership organisation for college sport and physical activity and is an Association of Colleges (AoC) subsidiary company. AoC Sport encourages and supports every student to participate in sport and physical activity as an integrated part of their college experience. Offering a range of specialist advice, training and events, AoC Sport champions a whole-organisation, cross-curricular approach to physical activity, which results in dynamic college communities, healthy students and an economic boost to the bottom line. AoC Sport was formed following the merger of British Colleges Sport (BCS), the English Colleges Football Association (ECFA) and the Association of Colleges (AoC) sport policy team in August 2014.
AoC Sport’s vision is for ‘every college student to participate regularly in sport or physical activity’. We believe sport and physical activity are essential components of college life, giving students significant advantages in education, employment and health. Our purpose is to promote, support and deliver high quality college sport and physical activity.
The ECFA represents the football delivery arm of AoC Sport. Working in close partnership with The Football Association we aim to grow and sustain college football by delivering quality competitions and providing participation programmes for all. We have developed a full ECFA Player Pathway to ensure college football is fully inclusive and have launched numerous leadership and volunteering opportunities to aid student employability; using football as a vehicle to help students fulfil their potential. The England Colleges National Team programme represents the pinnacle of college football.
